FTEA
The Florida Technology Education Association is an organization devoted to promoting the development and advancement of technology education in the State of Florida.
Comprised of technology educators from across the state, we are committed to bringing the best possible education to our 185,000+ technology students in Florida.
Through the synergetic collaboration of thousands of dedicated technology teachers from middle and high schools statewide, we strive to define, stimulate, and achieve the ideal form of technology education; promote technology education as a vital, integral aspect of education for students at all educational levels throughout the State of Florida; encourage educators and others to keep instructional content, methods, and facilities current with the changes in industry, technology, occupations, and careers; assist technology teachers in meeting legal requirements; and assist members in their professional growth.

On October 19, 2007, the membership ratified a number of changes to the Constitution and By-Laws of FTEA. Some of these changes significantly impact the manner in which FTEA operates.
